First Open Koha Workshop

Following recommendations of the koha meeting of 25th July, 2008, Koha Kenya
will be holding a training workshop to be conducted at NEGST

The details are:
Date: 3rd to 4th October, 2008
Time: 9.00 am ¡V 4.00 pm
Venue: Nairobi Evangelical Graduate School of Theology (NEGST) -

Charges: Ksh 2500 p.p. (lunch, stationery and facilitation)

Workshop contents:

• KOHA : an Experience
• Installation & Configuration of Koha on Linux platform

• System Preferences and Parameters

• Working with the modules (Cataloguing, Acquisitions,

Serials, Authorities, Virtual shelves, Accounts and Reports, etc)

To get to NEGST:

Take No. 24 City Hoppa from Kencom OR No. 111 from Railways

1. Alight at Karen shopping centre
2. From here, look for and board matatu going to Dagoretti Market
3. Inform the conductor that you need to alight at NEGST. (be prepared to pay btn Ksh 20- 25)
